We are proud to highlight Su Hay Thi Lin, a 2026 Pedrozzi scholar who recently started her college journey at Johns Hopkins! Su is studying Biomedical Engineering, and she hopes to continue exploring human-centered design through this major. Her experience as part of the LHS math club and robotics team has fostered her love for engineering and how it can be used to improve health and quality of life. At Johns Hopkins, she hopes to become part of the Design Team program, which would give her the opportunity to work with physicians at the Johns Hopkins Hospital to create medical devices that better fit patients’ needs.
Su shares:
“It was an honor and privilege to have been chosen to receive a donor-funded Pedrozzi scholarship, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your generosity and investment in my future. This scholarship will help ease the financial burden of higher education and allow me to access the educational materials and technology resources I need as I begin the next chapter of my academic journey.”
As a recipient of the Tabak Family Scholarship, Su is incredibly grateful to Barbara and Max Tabak and the Pedrozzi Foundation for contributing to her education.
Congratulations, Su! We wish you all the best at Johns Hopkins this fall.
