Dave and Laurie Christeson have funded the David F. Christeson GHS Class of 2005 Memorial Scholarship through the Pedrozzi Foundation, awarded to artist Jodi Bryant of Granada High School in 2019. Jodi will be pursuing a degree in illustration as she continues her formal art training.

Dave and Laurie established the scholarship in honor and memory of their son David. The Christeson family shares:

David was an avid reader, writer and aspiring chef. He lived on the adventurous side of life and loved talking about his experiences and plans. David was a very talented writer, having the ability to articulately express his thoughts in a very well written style. He enjoyed the study of culinary arts and the chefs that were forging new paths, such as Anthony Bordain and Steven Rinella. He would have loved to help an aspiring student further his or her interests in writing or culinary arts – and would embrace a creative approach to achieving dreams.

The Pedrozzi Foundation is appreciative of the Christeson’s thoughtful and generous way to honor David.
