We’re proud to highlight Brittany Robles-Camacho, a 2024 Pedrozzi Scholar who is transferring to UC Berkeley to major in Political Science — a goal she has worked incredibly hard to achieve.
Brittany recently graduated from Las Positas College, where she not only thrived academically but also found the mentorship and confidence to pursue her dreams. Reflecting on her time at LPC, Brittany shares, “My time at Las Positas gave me the foundation, confidence, and mentorship I needed to get to where I am today.”
While completing her studies, Brittany interned with our local U.S. Congressman’s office, gaining firsthand experience in constituent services, federal policy, and community engagement. From helping residents navigate federal programs to learning how national decisions affect local lives, this opportunity confirmed her deep interest in public service, law, and government.
Now, as she prepares to join the UC Berkeley community, Brittany is filled with excitement and purpose. “This moment feels especially meaningful coming from a community college background,” she says. “Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way — this is just the beginning.”
Congratulations, Brittany! We look forward to seeing all you’ll accomplish at UC Berkeley and beyond.
