Savannah Evans – 2024 Pedrozzi Scholar

Savannah writes:

I am so grateful for the McMenamin Nursing Scholarship. I am attending a school in New York that will set me up for success working in the medical field. Along with studying Public Health, I will compete on the school swim team. During high school, I participated in the Red Cross Club, Biology Club, and the social justice club, Humans Against Hate. I plan to join clubs similar to these. I truly cannot describe my feelings of appreciation in words. When I read the email about my awarded scholarship, I screamed and jumped for joy. I truly still feel this way when thinking about my award. Thank you so much for choosing me and allowing me to chase after my dreams as an athlete and a student.
