The Pedrozzi Foundation is deeply saddened to share the passing of Pedrozzi Young Scholar Jerrod Chapman-Marshall, who was tragically killed in a car accident in Monterey in August 2026.
Jerrod was an enthusiastic member of the Pedrozzi Young Scholars (PYS) Cohort 2017. He had a remarkable ability to light up a room with his smile and positive energy, and his warmth and enthusiasm made a lasting impression on those around him.
Our hearts are with Jerrod’s family, friends, classmates, and all those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered by the Pedrozzi community for his bright smile, joyful spirit, and the positive energy he brought to those around him.
We are honored to have known Jerrod and will remember him as an important part of the Pedrozzi Young Scholars family.
Jerrod is survived by his mother, Bonnie Marshall. A dear friend of Bonnie’s started a GoFundMe to help defray funeral expenses and lost income due to personal leave.
