The Pedrozzi Young Scholars (PYS) and their families participated in Livermore’s Community Service Day, a collaborative event hosted by the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, and the City of Livermore to enhance and beautify the community through volunteer projects.

Once again, the Pedrozzi Young Scholars made us proud by demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to giving back. This year’s group of Pedrozzi volunteers included 13 PYS, 12 family members, and two Pedrozzi staff members, Carolyn and Maggie. They worked alongside two Del Valle staff and a City of Livermore Council Member to improve the Del Valle/Vineyard School site, spreading mulch to enhance the landscaping around the campus.

Del Valle Principal Eric Taylor expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you again for supporting our students and site. Your team was amazing and really helped make our campus look absolutely amazing!”
