We are proud to recognize Priel Wolfe, a former Pedrozzi Young Scholar and now 2025 Pedrozzi Scholarship recipient.
At the Pedrozzi Foundation, we have the privilege of witnessing the hopes and dreams of Livermore students take shape—and nothing brings us more joy than hearing how our support is making a difference.
Recently, we heard from one of our scholars who is preparing to attend CSU Monterey Bay in the fall. She shared with us her excitement about starting her journey as a Marine Biology major—an adventure that will even include learning to SCUBA dive. As she described the path ahead, she also acknowledged the financial challenges that come with pursuing higher education and the relief she feels knowing that her Pedrozzi Scholarship is helping ease that burden.
“I am incredibly grateful,” she wrote. “Although it’s not the most expensive school, this grant will help me decrease my student loan debt, especially since I plan on getting my Master’s at CSU Monterey Bay and later my PhD.”
Her words remind us why we do what we do. Our mission is to ensure that cost is never a barrier to education and that Livermore students can pursue their aspirations with confidence. Whether it’s a SCUBA certification or a PhD, every step forward matters—and we’re honored to be a part of this scholar’s journey.
