Pedrozzi Young Scholars (PYS) in high school had the opportunity to give back by volunteering at Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy (MASA), their former elementary school. On May 2, 19 Scholars participated in MASA’s annual Spring Festival, contributing their time and energy to support the event and connect with the community.

Volunteers assisted with a variety of fun and creative activities, including face painting, friendship bracelet making, cheer pin crafting, and helping at the Livermore Valley Arts table. In the process, they not only earned additional volunteer hours but also enjoyed meaningful moments with attending families and strengthened bonds with fellow Scholars.

The MASA Parent Organization expressed gratitude for the support. With the help of the PYS, parents were able to step away from work at the activity tables and instead enjoy the event alongside their children and friends.
