Thanks to a partnership with Quest Science Center, a group of Pedrozzi Young Scholars participated in an Art Renaissance Workshop inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Local art teacher Thomasin Dewhurst taught the Scholars via Zoom over a few sessions.

Each Pedrozzi Young Scholar received a kit of materials so that they could participate from the safety of their own homes. The Scholars painted a Renaissance-type landscape. Check out pictures from the workshop sessions to see how each painting has unique differences.

The Pedrozzi Young Scholars participate in a wide variety of events, including STEM-focused activities, college tours, visits to local businesses and sites, speaker visits, and more. It was exciting to offer an art-based workshop to the Scholars.

We appreciate Quest Science Center for continuing to partner with the Pedrozzi Foundation to bring exciting opportunities to the Pedrozzi Young Scholars. In the summer, Scholars participated in a Nature Explorers Camp, Electricity and Magnetism Science Camp, and Math Camp.
