We are proud to recognize Jesleen Walia, a 2025 Pedrozzi Scholar who will be attending UC Riverside this fall, where she begins the next chapter of her academic journey with the goal of pursuing a career in medicine and healthcare.
Jesleen describes the Pedrozzi Scholarship as a powerful motivator in her pursuit of higher education. It not only lightens the financial burden but also strengthens her commitment to maintaining a strong work ethic as she prepares for the demanding yet rewarding path of becoming a doctor. “This scholarship empowers me to continue striving as a student, so I can eventually give back to my community and help serve others,” she shares.

She hopes to one day support patients not only through clinical care but also through advocacy and understanding.
