The Pedrozzi Foundation was proud to participate in this year’s Livermore Rodeo Parade as part of the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) nonprofit contingent. TVNPA was honored as the recipient of the Community Service Award, and we were delighted to join fellow nonprofit organizations in celebrating the spirit of service that makes our community so special.
Despite the warm temperatures, more than 100 individuals representing 15 nonprofit organizations came together to walk in the parade and showcase the important work being done throughout the Tri-Valley. Kathy Young and Marti Sutton led the contingent on behalf of TVNPA as recipients of the Community Service Award.
Representing the Pedrozzi Foundation were Board President Monica Moya, President-Elect Frankie Tate, Past President Sharon Draggoo, Pedrozzi Young Scholar Program Manager Maggie Tufts, and Pedrozzi Young Scholars Yaretzi Moctezuma (9th grader), Tonatzin Ortiz (8th grader) and Emely Soriano (8th grader). Together, they proudly represented the Foundation and our shared commitment to supporting local students and expanding educational opportunities in our community.
Participating in the parade was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the power of collaboration among local nonprofits and connect with the many community members who came out to enjoy this longstanding Livermore tradition.
We are grateful to be part of such a vibrant, generous, and supportive community, and we thank the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance for including us in this special event.
