We are proud to highlight Darshini Binduraj, a 2025 Pedrozzi Scholar who will be starting her second year at UCSC this fall! Darshini is a Computer Science and Computer Game Design major, and she enjoys both the technical and artistic sides of the program. Her first-year coursework allowed her to strengthen her programming and design skills, and she has built on these skills as the Creative Technologies (CT) Assistant. As part of CT, Darshini explores the field of marketing by creating social media posts, promoting classes, and hosting community events. She is excited to apply everything she learned as a freshman to her sophomore year!
Darshini shares:
“Your generosity has helped make these experiences possible. Knowing that members of the community believe in students like me motivates me to work hard and make the most of every opportunity. Thank you for your continued support and for investing in my education and future.”
As a recipient of the Kim Cupps Memorial STEM Scholarship, Darshini is incredibly grateful to the family and colleagues of Kim Cupps and the Pedrozzi Foundation for their support.
Congratulations, Darshini! We wish you all the best at UCSC this fall.
