The Pedrozzi Foundation is proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone—awarding more than 2,000 scholarships to Livermore students since the Foundation was established in 2008.
The Foundation was created through the visionary legacy gift of Mario Pedrozzi, whose generosity established a lasting commitment to expanding educational opportunities for local students. His belief in the transformative power of education continues to inspire the Foundation’s mission and the many donors and families who have since joined him in investing in future generations.
What began with Mario Pedrozzi’s extraordinary gift has grown into a scholarship program that supports students pursuing a wide variety of educational and career pathways. Today, the Foundation awards scholarships to students attending community colleges, four-year undergraduate programs, graduate schools, and career and vocational training programs, ensuring that students have access to opportunities that align with their individual goals.
The impact of the Pedrozzi Foundation now reaches far beyond Livermore. Pedrozzi scholars are currently pursuing their education at 296 colleges, universities, and career schools across 45 states (including Washington, D.C.) and five countries—the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, and Switzerland. While the numbers are impressive, the true impact is measured by the lives changed. Each scholarship represents a student taking the next step toward achieving a dream, whether becoming a teacher, engineer, healthcare professional, skilled tradesperson, entrepreneur, or community leader. By helping reduce financial barriers, the Pedrozzi Foundation empowers students to focus on learning, growing, and building brighter futures.
This milestone would not have been possible without the generosity of Mario Pedrozzi, the Foundation’s donors, community partners, and supporters who believe in the power of education. Together, they have helped create opportunities for more than 2,000 students—and the Foundation looks forward to supporting thousands more in the years ahead as it continues to build on Mario Pedrozzi’s enduring legacy.
