Thank you so much for your generous generous donation! I am extremely grateful to be able to use these funds to support my educational pathway. Last year, I made the choice to attend Oberlin College and Conservatory as a music composition and theatre major, and while this is a program I am learning so much from, taking so many opportunities through, and thoroughly enjoying, it is definitely a financial burden on me and my family. Receiving the news that I got this scholarship filled me with relief and renewed enthusiasm for the college track I am on. These next few months I will be hard at work balancing my artistic projects and a summer job before hopping right in again next fall, when I will be directing an original musical, singing in a large ensemble piece written by me and a fellow composition major, working as an editor for the school paper, and taking on a large class size load. I’m certainly doing my best to get the most I can out of this top tier education, and your support is invaluable. Thank you so much!
