Mario Pedrozzi left his estate as a gift to the Livermore community. Mr. Pedrozzi envisioned that his wealth could provide a means for students of all ages to achieve their educational and career dreams. His objective was to promote higher education for a wide range of students who demonstrate desire, potential, and promise of the future.
As the leading scholarship provider in Livermore, CA, the Pedrozzi Foundation has supported over 1,670 students by awarding $6.1 million in scholarships since 2008.
The Foundation awards scholarships exclusively to students who are graduating or have graduated from a Livermore Valley Joint Unified District high school and are pursuing education or training beyond high school or students who were resident of Alameda County upon high school graduation and have been accepted at St. Patrick’s Seminary & University.
Scholarships awarded will be at least $1,000 per year, but some Scholars may be awarded more due to financial need or if they are receiving a donor-funded scholarship. The maximum total scholarship eligibility is four years.
Undergraduate students may be awarded up to four years of funding, while community college, vocational/career education, and graduate students may be awarded up to two years of funding.
