Livermore native and coveted international speaker, Alex Hunter spoke to Pedrozzi Scholars as a part of “Pedrozzi Night” at The Switch, an incubator and coworking space for startups, entrepreneurs, tech developers and creatives in downtown Livermore. This evening allowed students to explore The Switch space, as well as hear from a world-leading marketing expert.
Alex, who now lives in London, returns home to Livermore during the summers and teamed up with Switch Director Brandon Cardwell through Twitter. Just like the Boomerang Program, this event served as a way to foster connection between local talent with local businesses.
During his conversation with Livermore students, Alex talked about the psychological aspects to marketing, the ethics of the industry, and gave tips to help students find their niche in whatever field they are interested. Afterward, Alex spent time answering any and all questions from the scholars in attendance.
