We would like to recognize one of our 2025 scholarship recipients – Abby Stein, the awardee of the Kevin Drake Scholarship, generously funded by The Rotary Club of Livermore Valley, the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore, and Family and Friends of Kevin Drake.
Abby recently graduated from Granada High School and plans to attend UCLA this fall, where she will double major in Psychology and Communications.
Abby shares:
“It feels incredible to have been chosen to receive such an amazing scholarship, and I’m extremely grateful for this opportunity. This scholarship will help relieve stress off my family and I when it comes to paying for my tuition and allow me to focus more on my academics and continue my involvement in service organizations in college. I’m especially excited to get involved in UCLA’s Rotaract Club at UCLA, as Interact Club has been such a tremendous part of my high school journey thus far, which also makes this scholarship that much more special to me, as Livermore Valley Rotary Club helps fund these scholarships. As this chapter of my life comes to a close, I’m looking forward to many big things yet to come and I thank you once again for helping me further my education.”
Congratulations, Abby! We wish you the best of luck at UCLA this fall.
